TPR010C - MSD Coil Kit for TPR Billet Valve Cover - RZR
This MSD Coil Kit is designed specifically for the TPR010 Billet Valve cover, providing enhanced performance and reliability for your RZR. The kit includes:
- Wire Harness
- Delrin spacers
- MSD coils
- ARP hardware
If you frequently carry heavy loads in the bed of your vehicle, some heat shield modifications may be necessary. The factory beds can be quite flexible, and added weight may cause the heat shield to come into contact with the MSD coils, potentially causing damage. Modifications can be made using specific holesaw sizes and measurements.
When using aftermarket tuners, there may be instances of a cold start ignition code due to variations in ignition dwell timing maps. However, we have designed a new ignition dwell map to address this issue. This new map can be easily loaded into your machine by any shop with access to your tune.
For those running stock ECU with tuner, the Polaris MSD ignition dwell table includes the following specifications:
- 7 volt - 8.3 ms
- 8 volt - 5.8 ms
- 10 volt - 3.4 ms
- 12 volt - 2.25 ms
- 14 volt - 1.75 ms
- 16 volt - 1.5 ms
- 18 volt - 1.3 ms
For aftermarket ECU and drivers, a maximum dwell of 3.4 ms @14V is recommended, with the flexibility to increase or decrease by .2 to .4 ms per volt, up to a maximum of 4.2 ms.
*Please note that this kit is not compatible with the stock valve cover.*
